The Biogeochemistry lab in Action

Master student, Ricardo Santos, put together this video to show the preparation and work that goes into each biomarker sample.

Ricardo’s dissertation is entitled “Hydroclimate reconstruction of Western Iberia over the last 3600 years – insights from lipid biomarker and specific isotope signal”, and all data was generated in the Biogeochemistry Lab at the Lisbon Unit. The work forms part of the project Holmodrive (PTDC/CTA-GEO/29029/2017) (http://holmodrive.rd.ciencias.ulisboa.pt/).
